Become a Writer

1. Content Ownership. You retain full ownership of all original content you publish on TheScrolls. By publishing, you grant TheScrolls a non-exclusive license to display and distribute your work on the platform.

2. Revenue Sharing. Writers earn 70% of all revenue generated from their stories, including chapter unlocks, tips, and subscription reads. Payments are processed monthly for balances over $25.

3. Content Guidelines. All content must comply with our community guidelines. Stories must be original work or properly attributed fan fiction of non-copyrighted works. Plagiarism will result in immediate account termination.

4. Exclusivity. There is no exclusivity requirement. You may publish your work on other platforms simultaneously. However, exclusive stories receive boosted visibility in recommendations.

5. Withdrawal Terms. Revenue can be withdrawn via bank transfer, PayPal, or crypto wallet. A minimum balance of $25 is required. Processing takes 3-5 business days.

6. Account Conduct. Writers must maintain professional conduct. Manipulation of reads, ratings, or engagement metrics will result in suspension and forfeiture of pending earnings.

7. Termination. Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your published works remain accessible for 30 days, after which they are removed. Earned revenue up to the termination date will still be paid out.
